According to Sinar Harian, they received an emergency call about the incident at around 10am.
A team from the Taiping Fire and Rescue Station was immediately dispatched to the scene, located about 7km from the station, and arrived roughly 15 minutes later at 10.15am.
Car believed to have skidded into restaurantAuthorities said the Myvi was driven by a 69-year-old disabled (OKU) man, who is believed to have lost control of the vehicle before it veered into the restaurant.
At the time of the incident, two men in their 50s were inside the restaurant and were struck during the crash.
Victims suffered multiple injuriesMembers of the public had already pulled the victims out from underneath the vehicle before firefighters arrived.
Both victims suffered injuries to their head, legs and hands and were later handed over to the Ministry of Health (MOH) for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver was reported to be safe and unharmed.
Operation ended within 30 minutesA total of seven firefighters, along with a fire engine and a Rapid Intervention Motorcycle (RIM) unit, were involved in the operation.
The situation was brought under control by 10.20am, and the operation was fully concluded by 10.30am.
