MAE Users Risk Losing Access If App Isn’t Updated By 11 April

If you’re using the MAE app, there’s a fixed deadline to take note of. Update it before 11 April 2026 or you won’t be able to use it.

Maybank says the app will require version 0.9.45 from that date onwards. Anything older will be blocked. You won’t be able to log in, check your balance or make payments until the app is updated.

This applies across devices. Whether you’re on iPhone, Android or Huawei, the requirement is the same. If your app is already updated, you don’t need to do anything. If not, the update takes less than a minute.

After 11 April 2026, older versions will stop working. The only way back in is to update the app.
