Trump Says Discussed With Chinese Leader Everything But Reducing Tariffs

MOSCOW, May 15 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- US President Donald Trump said on Friday that during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the parties discussed almost all possible topics, but the reduction of tariffs was not on the agenda, reported Sputnik/RIA Novossti

"We did not discuss tariffs. I mean, they are paying tariffs. They are paying substantial tariffs, but we did not discuss it... It was not brought up," Trump told reporters on his way back from China.

The two leaders also discussed the joint development of restrictions on artificial intelligence, Trump added.
