HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition and FreeClip 2 Arrive In Malaysia
Huawei has officially unveiled a new lineup of wearables in Malaysia under its “Now Is Your Spark” campaign, introducing the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series alongside the premium HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition and a new Berry Purple colour option for the HUAWEI FreeClip 2. The latest launches reflect Huawei’s continued focus on blending health technology, fashion-forward design and smarter everyday experiences into its growing ecosystem.

Leading the announcement is the all-new HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, which builds upon Huawei’s popular square smartwatch design with a more premium appearance and upgraded wellness features. The standard HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 comes with a 1.82-inch display, while the Pro variant expands to a larger 1.92-inch panel with ultra-slim bezels and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, making it significantly easier to view under bright sunlight.

Huawei has also stepped up the materials used on the WATCH FIT 5 Pro, incorporating aerospace-grade titanium alloy bezels and durable 2.5D sapphire glass for added toughness. Certain editions further elevate the design through Aerospace-Grade Nanoceramic Metal technology, an advanced anodizing process that forms a ceramic-like protective coating over aluminium alloy for improved durability and a more refined finish. The smartwatch is also available in several vibrant colours, while selected straps utilise nearly 100% recycled nylon with antibacterial and water-repellent properties.

Beyond aesthetics, Huawei is placing a much stronger emphasis on preventive healthcare with the WATCH FIT 5 Pro. One of its standout additions is Malaysia’s first diabetes risk study integrated into a wearable smartwatch, utilising non-invasive PPG-based vascular signal analysis to monitor potential diabetes risk patterns over time. While it is not intended as a medical diagnosis tool, the feature aims to provide users with earlier awareness regarding possible health concerns.

The smartwatch further expands its health monitoring capabilities with CE and MDA-certified ECG functionality, Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis and arterial stiffness detection. Users can also access sleep tracking through TruSleep 5.0, HRV monitoring, emotional wellbeing analysis and women’s health management features, reinforcing Huawei’s push towards more comprehensive health tracking beyond simple activity monitoring.

Fitness enthusiasts are also getting more specialised experiences with the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series. Huawei has introduced dedicated support for badminton through Goodshot, pickleball via PickleX and tennis using Tennix, delivering deeper insights into performance and movement during matches. Meanwhile, the WATCH FIT 5 Pro extends its capabilities to outdoor sports such as trail running, golf and freediving up to 40 metres. Golf players in particular will benefit from access to maps covering more than 17,000 courses worldwide.

To encourage healthier daily habits, Huawei has introduced a new mini workout experience featuring over 30 guided movements targeting 10 different body parts. Accompanied by Huawei’s interactive panda companion, the feature is designed to make short exercise sessions more engaging throughout the day.

For everyday convenience, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series supports compatibility with both Android and iOS devices, offers up to 10 days of battery life and includes 64GB of storage. The smartwatch also supports Touch ‘n Go QR payments, adding more practicality for Malaysian users looking to leave their wallets behind.

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series is now available for pre-order in Malaysia starting from RM799. Customers who pre-order can enjoy early bird discount vouchers worth up to RM150, alongside free gifts valued up to RM585, including HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 2, extended warranty coverage and HUAWEI Health+ membership benefits.

Moving towards the luxury segment, Huawei has also expanded its premium wearable portfolio with the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition. Developed in collaboration with internationally renowned jewellery designer Francesca Amfitheatrof, the smartwatch features 99 natural diamonds, diamond-cut sapphire glass and elegant curves inspired by the Fibonacci sequence. Huawei positions the watch as a statement piece that blends luxury craftsmanship with intelligent wellness capabilities, suitable for both professional settings and formal occasions.

The HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition is priced at RM17,999 in Malaysia and is now open for pre-orders. Customers will receive benefits worth up to RM5,143, including premium service packages, accidental damage protection, battery replacement coverage and HUAWEI Health+ membership.

Completing the launch is the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 in a new Berry Purple finish. Retaining Huawei’s signature open-ear Airy C-Bridge design, the earbuds are built to provide lightweight comfort while allowing users to remain aware of surrounding sounds. Huawei says the design suits modern routines such as commuting, taking calls on the move and switching between multiple devices throughout the day.

The HUAWEI FreeClip 2 in Berry Purple is available now in Malaysia for RM699 after rebate. Buyers can also enjoy free gifts worth up to RM248, including rebate offers, one-year loss care and APAC warranty coverage.

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition and HUAWEI FreeClip 2 are available through HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide, as well as Huawei’s official online store, Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop in Malaysia.
