I built the ultimate Cosmic Orange iPhone everyday carry [Video]

When Apple unveiled the Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, I was a bit skeptical. Apple usually reserves more “professional” and dull colors for the Pro models and the more vibrant colors for the regular iPhone lineup. But as someone who loves orange as a color, I went with the 17 Pro in Cosmic Orange. After using it since day one, I can easily say this is my favorite iPhone color variation in a long time. So, naturally, as time went on, some of my favorite accessories began to color-match the Cosmic Orange iPhone, and I had to build an everyday carry around it. These accessories not only complement the Cosmic Orange finish perfectly but also solve real problems, earning a permanent place in my EDC.

Aulumu G09 Ghost Magnetic Stand

This one is my most recent addition to this lineup, but it is also my most used. The Aulumu G09 Ghost adds a versatile 360 ° stand and a finger loop to the back of your iPhone while maintaining the retro-futuristic, translucent design language. You get:

What I love about this accessory is just how useful yet simple it is. It allows you to prop your iPhone in almost any orientation, and the finger loop design is fantastic. It is this rubber design, with a bit of elasticity, that makes it easier to use. The finger loop adds a lot more confidence when using your phone one-handed, especially if you don’t have a case. Then the stand aspect is great because the hinge is also confidence-inducing and lets you put your phone up in almost any angle.

Kuxiu S4 MagSafe Battery

I have reviewed this Kuxiu S4 in the past, and it has still held strong. This accessory is the closest to the actual Cosmic Orange color that I have seen so far. The colors match perfectly. But of course its also an amazing battery pack. You get:

I bring this battery pack everywhere. Having 10,000mAh gives you great peace of mind, especially for me, who never makes it through the day on a full charge. The magnets are strong, the battery feels extremely premium, the display shape and function brings it a unique touch. If you are looking for a new battery back, this is the way to go.

Nomad ChargeKey

This one is a must-have and pairs extremely well with the Kuxiu S4. The Nomad Chargekey is the smallest accessory on the list, but it might be the most useful. It’s one of those products you are extremely happy you have when you need it.

This tiny cable can do it all. It can be used to charge your iPhone or your 16in MacBook Pro at 140W. You can also rely on it for some data-transfer use cases, and feel good knowing it offers fast data transfer speeds. I like pairing this with the Kuxiu S4 because, when you wire your iPhone, you get 35W of wired charging in a small, compact package. If you want an emergency cable that you know will last forever, thanks to its insane build quality, then the ChargeKey is the way to go.

Abxylute M4 MagSafe Controller

This one is the most fun of the bunch. Abxylute created the perfect compact, casual iPhone controller. I reviewed this product earlier in the year and still use it whenever I get the chance. For me, it turns the iPhone into the ultimate little Game Boy alternative. You get:

The biggest advantage here is the convenience. It connects via Bluetooth and auto-pairs after the first pairing. You can snap it directly to the iPhone or use it in tabletop mode like a Nintendo Switch. It works with all Apple Arcade games that support controllers, it works with the Delta emulator (my favorite use case), and it even connects to your Switch if you have one. If you want a fun and casual way to experience your games on your iPhone this is worth a look!

Kuxiu X40 Turbo

Since we are doing the all orange everyday carry, I had to include this one. This was the first accessory I reviewed that color-matched the Cosmic Orange iPhone perfectly. It also just so happens to be the best travel 3-in-1 charger in the game. You get:

This charger has been with me everywhere. I love the versatility of it all. It can be used as a MagSafe puck when fully folded, extended to lay flat, or propped up as a 3-in-1 charging stand. Also, the fact that you get the correct charging brick, a braided cable, and a hardshell carrying case is amazing. It is made of aluminum, and the build quality feels like something from an Apple store.

Final thoughts

The Cosmic Orange iPhone has been one of my favorite iPhone variations in years. It is already rumored that Apple will not be bringing this color back for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. So if you have a few months left, jump on this color if it is something you were yearning for.
