PRNNS: No place for race-based, hatred campaigns in Negeri – Aminuddin

NEGERI Sembilan PH chairman and caretaker Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, stressed that campaigns based on race and leading to hatred have no place in the current state election (PRN).

He, who is also the Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Linggi DUN, said that for a long time, the multi-racial community in Negeri Sembilan has lived in complete harmony.

In fact, he explained, there have been no elements that undermined the understanding among the multi-racial community in Negeri Sembilan.

“We are aware that this state has a very good society in terms of understanding and respecting the diverse community of multiple races and religions.

“We also do not see any sensitive matters that have occurred in recent times that could cause division.

“The people in this state live in harmony and peace, so I do not see that politics based on racism and hatred can be used as a vehicle to achieve the goals of any party in this Negeri Sembilan state election,” he said.

Aminuddin was asked about the actions of certain parties that brought a narrative based on racism and hatred throughout the Negeri Sembilan state election campaign, which entered its fifth day today.

The narrative, among others, tried to highlight the dominance of Malay-based and Islamic political parties by making DAP the target of hatred.

Meanwhile, Aminuddin said that PH throughout the current Negeri Sembilan state election has chosen to highlight what it wants to offer the people of the state through the manifesto launched recently.

According to him, every PH candidate contesting as well as the campaign machinery, will explain the manifesto so the people of Negeri Sembilan know what will be implemented if PH is once again given the mandate to administer the state government.

“We don’t want to promise, we want to implement, because we already have the evidence.

“The past eight years, as the state government, we have implemented all that was promised to the people,” he said. – July 22, 2026
