Amazon Prime’s Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya Cast And Character Guide 

Schools are meant to be sacred institutions where students are supposed to have full support to build their own future; but in most cases, they fail to do so because of poor infrastructure. Directed by Himank Gaur, Amazon Prime Video’s “Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya” tells such a story where a headmaster tries his best to guide  his students to a bright future. Kay Kay Menon as Gyaneshwar Tripathi

Kay Kay Menon plays Gyaneshwar, who is the Headmaster of a government school named Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya. For years, he has been frustrated with the failed infrastructure of this school and sought help from everyone for funding. When Gyaneshwar comes to know that if his school becomes one of the top ten institutions, he will be able to visit Cambridge, he starts to do everything in his power to make it happen. We have seen Kay Kay Menon in movies like “Gulaal,” “Black Friday,” “Haider,” “Ek Sangaychay,” “The Last Chapter,” and “The Ghazi Attack.” The veteran actor has also showcased his acting in television series like “Parchayee: Ghost Stories By Ruskin Bond,” “Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story,” “Ray,” “Farzi,” “Bambai Meri Jaan,” and “The Railway Men: The Untold Story.”

Deven Bhojani as Goldy Randhawa

Deven Bhojani has acted in several movies like “Dhabkaroo,” “Udan Chhoo,” “Agneepath,” “Dunki,” “Khichdi: The Movie,” and “Chala Mussaddi – Office Office.” He has been in television series that include “Baa Bahoo Aur Baby,” “Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai,” “Gulmohar Grand,” “Yamraj Calling,” “Wagle Ki Duniya,” and “Hostel Daze.” In “Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya,” the actor plays Goldy, who is a corrupt MLA in the area and Gyaneshwar’s main benefactor. He does not care about the future of school children and often uses them in his political rallies. Goldy is uneducated and he thinks that students should join his party if they want to make it big in life. He uses his assistant to carry out the dirty work, which includes threatening Gyaneshwar to carry out his political agenda.

Archana Puran Singh as Urmila Devi

Archana Puran Singh plays Goldy’s assistant, Urmila, who acts as his public representative. She is well determined to stop Gyaneshwar from getting more funds from the MLA. Years ago, Urmila was rejected by Gyaneshwar when he decided to marry her sister and since then, she does not like that guy at all. Urmila’s grudge does not allow her to realize the real issues in the government school because she is too self-centered. Archana’s filmography has popular movies like “Mohabbatein,” “Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai,” “Raja Hindustani,” “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!,” “Tera Mera Ki Rishta,” and “Mera Dil Leke Dekho.” We have seen her in television series like “Comedy Nights With Kapil,” “Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur,” “Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo,” “Comedy Circus Ke Tansen,” and “My Name Ijj Lakhan.” 

Naveen Kasturia as Mukul Dengla

Naveen Kasturia has gained recognition for his roles in television series like “Kota Factory,” “SK Sir Ki Class,””Sapne Vs Everyone,” and of course,“TVF Pitchers.” We saw him play Abhilash Sharma’s character in “Aspirants.” He has also acted in films like “Tasalli Se,” “Waah Zindagi,” “Sulemani Keeda,” “Turtle,” and “Hope Aur Tum.” Kasturia plays Mukul Denga, who is an academic counselor at Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya. Although he cares for his students, he often fails to do the same for his daughter. Ever since Mukul has lost his wife, things have never been the same for him and now, he wants to have a life partner. However, Mukul remains unhappy to see his daughter’s decision of leaving the house to prepare for competitive exams. 

Abhimanyu Singh as Hansraj Meena

Abhimanyu Singh plays Hansraj Meena, a grammar teacher who is feared by most of the students. He is a no nonsense man who beats every student up if they talk or misbehave while he is in the vicinity. Since Meena is unhappy with his salary, he uses his artistic skills and earns more money by being a mehendi artist in different weddings. Abhimanyu has done movies like “Gulaal,” “Lakshya,” “Theeran Adhigaram Ondru,” “Interrogation”, and “Home Minister.” Apart from his roles across TV series like “Inspector Avinash” and “Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare,” Abhimanyu gained huge fame with his antagonistic portrayal of gangster Shaukeen in “Bhaukaal.”

Prasanna Bisht as Kanchan

Prasanna Bisht has acted in movies like “India Pride Imli – The Archer,” “Bokshi,” “Dedh Bigha Zameen,” “Dhai Akhhar,” and “Farrey.” She has showcased her acting in television series like “Maamla Legal Hai,” “Dillogical,” “Candy,” and “Chiraiya.” in “Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya”, Bisht plays Kanchan, a new recruit in Adars Baal Vidyalaya who is basically a mathematics teacher but gets appointed to teach physics. Kanchan does not like how Meena treats the students even when they are at fault because she doesn’t believe in punishments. However, Kanchan is disappointed when students do not listen to her words even when she is treating them respectfully throughout the whole time.

Miscellaneous Cast 

Apart from the main cast, Ajitesh Gupta plays Shiney Sir and Annapurna Soni plays Sharma Ma’am. Nabiya Ansari plays Purva, one of the toppers of the school. Akshara Padwal plays Palak, Mukul’s daughter who aspires to be a doctor. Kabir Sajjid plays Gopal, Aswanath Kumar plays Kuttan, Aryan Prajapati plays Purav, and Ishaan Kesarwani plays Nandlal. Hanisha Gehlot plays Nishthha, a student who gets misdirected towards marriage instead of studying. Lhakpa Lepcha plays Bishnu, a chef who runs a chinese restaurant and his son, Naren’s character, is played by Abiral Limboo. Prammod Sanghi plays Sailesh Ganjoo, Goldy’s political opponent.
