Inside Panasonic Beauty’s Global Hair Tool Debut at KLFW 2026

Beauty and fashion have never exactly been strangers. Every fashion week comes with its own hair and makeup agenda, with beauty looks playing just as important a role in shaping a collection’s final image. But increasingly, beauty brands are finding ways to make their presence felt on the fashion calendar, from backstage partnerships and new launches to experiences designed around the shows. 

At Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2026, Panasonic Beauty brought its latest beauty technology into the fashion week conversation, launching two beauty tools ahead of Malaysian designer Min Luna’s latest collection.

Together with our Friends of BURO, Tisya Ong and Nina Ariff, we got a front-row look at a significant moment for Panasonic Beauty. The runway was chosen as the stage for the global debut of Panasonic Beauty’s nanocare Hair Dryer EH-NB70 and nanocare Hair Straightener EH-HN30. Built around Panasonic Beauty’s Japanese beauty technology, each tool represents the brand’s latest approach to styling, bringing hair and scalp care into the process rather than treating it as an afterthought.

“At Panasonic Beauty, we believe confidence begins with healthy hair,” says Keisuke Nishida, Managing Director of Panasonic Malaysia. “Through innovations such as nanoe™ MOISTURE+ and our latest 3D Smooth Plates technology, we continue to push the boundaries of hair care by developing solutions that not only help consumers achieve their desired style, but also care for the long-term health of their hair.”

Designed with scalp health in mind, the EH-NB70 goes beyond the traditional role of a hair dryer. Powered by Panasonic’s latest nanoe™ MOISTURE+, which generates 18 times more moisture than conventional nanoe™, it delivers moisture to both the scalp and hair while helping to balance excess sebum. As the most compact hair dryer in Panasonic’s nanocare range, it also features a dedicated Scalp Mode for gentle drying and Skin Mode for delivering moisture to facial skin. Intelligent temperature sensing helps minimise heat damage, while its compact, high-speed BLDC motor ensures fast, tangle-free drying.

With the EH-HN30, styling becomes less about turning up the heat and more about how the hair is treated along the way. Panasonic’s nanoe™ technology helps to maintain the hair’s natural moisture, while its proprietary 3D Smooth Plates are designed to give each strand an even glide from root to tip. A Ceramic Heater distributes heat evenly across the plates, supporting lower-temperature styling while helping to minimise friction and heat damage. And because it can create both sleek, straight looks and soft curls, it is designed to do more than just straighten. Its universal voltage of 100–240V is another small convenience, making it easy to pack for trips without giving up your usual styling routine.

The EH-NB70 and EH-HN30 will be available from September 2026 at Panasonic brand stores, authorised dealers and the Panasonic Official Store across major e-commerce platforms nationwide. The EH-NB70 will retail at RM1,399, while the EH-HN30 will be priced at RM699.
