Widow’s Bay sweeps 78th Primetime Emmy Awards as Apple TV scores 9 more wins

After scoring 20 wins during the two-night Creative Arts Emmy Awards last week, Apple TV picked up another 9 wins tonight during the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony. Here’s the full list.

When presenting the award for Outstanding Comedy Series, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson also promoted their upcoming Apple TV comedy Brothers, which leans on the long-running rumor that the two actors may actually be half-brothers.

Apple CEO John Ternus was also in attendance and showed off the new iPhone Duo during an interview with Deadline.

With tonight’s wins, Apple finished the 78th Emmy Awards with a company-record 29 wins, including the Outstanding Commercial award for its “I’m Not Remarkable” ad.

Widow’s Bay alone took home 14 Emmys, surpassing the 13 wins earned by The Studio last year. Both shows achieved the feat in their debut seasons.
