Taking the food out, the dogs were seen patiently waiting, with their tails wagging uncontrollably. Slowly feeding them, it was apparent that the dogs have full trust in her and they’ve built a bond with her. Speaking to Wau Post, the woman shared that this has been something she’s been doing for a while.
“I do this every night, and we’ve hired cooks to cook some extra food like rice, chicken and bones for the strays”, she said.
While feeding the strays, she would quietly observe them while occasionally offering them pets. Seeing the strays being excited to see her, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction when she sees them enjoy their food. When asked about her dealing with stray dogs, the woman shared that she didn’t find it a problem as she would perform sertu, a method of cleaning after she’s dealt with the strays.
On top of that, the woman who is attached to @mystrayrescue mentioned that they’re currently in need of volunteers to help with feeding the strays and other menial tasks.
“We’re also in need of some donations and people to help with looking for a forever home for the strays”, she said.
Being an animal rescuer, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of belonging, happiness and satisfaction when she sees the animals being joyful. Thank you for extending your kindness towards the strays, the world needs more kind people like you.
