Sheron Sariman and Tahira Najmunisaa became champions of the Timpohon Run 2024 event that was held at the Kinabalu National Park on Saturday.

Sheron won the Men's Open category with his 48:30-minute run while Tahira won the Women's Open category on1:06:19 hours.

In the Men's Open category, Jemson Daikin clinched second place on 52:29 minutes, followed by Raichin Sungkit in third (54:36).

Fourth place went to Mohd Fahmee Zulkhibri Bin (54:55) , and fifth place went to Edwin Tham (55:37).

In the Women's Open category, Jassica Binti Lintanga clinched second place (1:14:34), followed by Mailin Binti Salungin in third (1:15:36).

Fourth place went to Ellystrina JR (1:17:04) and fifth place to Gwenlli (1:20:09).

Other runners in the Men's Open category included Elvince JR (56:54), Samry Sainin (58:12), Bernardo Linus (59:15), Constantine Camillus (1:00:30) and Herman bin Sopikit (1:01:32).

Other runners in the Women's Open category included Mimi Yong (1:22:33), Vivieana Jeffrey Chan (1:25:54), Gracie Tracyetta Saumin (1:28:02), Azlin Mohi (1:28:29) and Melissa Frankie Chiung (1:29:18).

The Timpohon Run 2024 served as a prelude to the Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon, offering participants the chance to run in Kinabalu Park.
