A violent fight involving several men, some reportedly armed with sticks and rods, broke out outside a casino in Genting Highlands, causing panic among bystanders.

A 30-second video of the altercation has gone viral on Facebook, posted by @CarsonChong, showing multiple men clashing violently just outside the casino at the popular tourist destination of Genting Highlands.

Although the exact cause of the fight has not been officially disclosed, the commotion quickly attracted a crowd. Onlookers watched in shock as the situation escalated before authorities intervened.

Four men arrested

Bentong District Police confirmed that the 55-second video showing the fight at Sky Avenue began circulating on social media on Jul 10 in an official statement. Police received two reports related to the incident the next day, on Jul 11, around 11.49am and 12.50pm.

Investigations have been opened under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting with weapons. Authorities are working to identify those involved and have urged anyone with information to assist in the investigation.

Supt. Zaiham Mohd Kahar also advised the public not to speculate, as the case remains under active investigation by Bentong police.

Some allegedly have injuries from the brawl
