LUZ Bangkok Tapas Is Hosting Acclaimed Mixologist For One Night

LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar, perched atop INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit, will host a sky-high whisky cocktail takeover this month with a special guest shift by renowned bartender and whisky ambassador Bank Watcharapong Suriyaphan.

Taking place on 15 August from 7–9pm, the LUZ x Prakaan Guest Shift Glow event will see Suriyaphan, Prakaan Whisky’s brand ambassador and founder of Tale of the Spirits bar academy, serve four inventive whisky cocktails crafted exclusively for the evening. Each will be priced at THB 390++.

Sol de Miel (The Golden Glow): A sweet and citrusy blend of Prakaan Select Cask, citrus honey shrub, vanilla, lemon and soda.

El Misterio (The Mystery): A smoky concoction featuring Prakaan Peated Malt, Dry Vermouth, fig jam, and cocoa bitters.

LUZ Oscura (Dark Light): A nutty, layered mix of Prakaan Double Cask, Amontillado Sherry, Frangelico, and bitters.

Flamenco Flame (The Fire Within): A bold, vibrant fusion of Prakaan Peated Malt, Sweet Vermouth, Cherry Heering, citrus and caramel.

LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar spans the hotel’s 33rd and 34th floors, offering sweeping views of the city skyline. Its design pays homage to Bangkok landmarks, including Rama VIII Bridge and The Giant Swing. By night, the 34th-floor rooftop terrace and transparent infinity pool become an extension of the lively tapas venue below.

Serving authentic Spanish tapas with local Thai influences, Spanish wines, draft beer, and signature sangrias, LUZ is open daily from 4pm until midnight.
