Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 and MagicPad 3 are launching in Malaysia on 20 August

Honor Malaysia is set to launch a new slim laptop and a flagship tablet next week. It has confirmed that the Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 and the MagicPad 3 will be making its local debut on the 20th of August 2025.
So far there are no pricing details yet but where’s what to expect based on the global pages.
Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025The MagicBook Art 14 is Honor’s answer to the MacBook Air as it weighs about 1kg and has a thickness of 11.5mm. The Honor MagicBook Art 14 also features a unique detachable magnetic camera that can be snapped on and flip-around on the top bezel of the screen.
For 2025, Honor is upgrading the laptop with an upgraded processor and a new colour option inspired by the “Colour of the Year 2025” – 17-1230 Mocha Mousse.
According to the global Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 product page, this Windows 11 laptop features a 14.6″ 120Hz OLED display that boasts a 3:2 resolution of 3120×2080. It is also a touch screen display and it boasts a peak brightness of 1600 nits.
Under the hood, the MagicBook Air 14 2025 is listed with an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 225H (16-core) paired to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of SSD. It isn’t clear if Malaysia is getting the same hardware configuration.
The laptop features a power button with integrated fingerprint sensor, a 6-speaker (dual tweeters and four woofers) setup and an array of 3 microphones. It also gets a full-size backlit keyboard with 1.5mm travel and a multi-touch trackpad.
Connectivity wise, the device features a HDMI 2.1 port, 3.5mm audio jack, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, USB-C 3.2 Gen2 and Thunderbolt 4.
The MagicBook Air 14 2025 comes with a 60Wh Li-polymer battery that claims to provide up to 10 hours of battery life. A 30-minute charge is rated to push 46% of battery life and it takes 95 minutes to charge it up to 100%.
To recap, last year’s MagicBook Air 14 was offered in a single variant with Intel Core Ultra 5 125H chip with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of SSD for RM5,999. At the time, Honor Malaysia provided freebies worth RM1,106 which include extended warranty and Microsoft 365.
Honor MagicPad 3Meanwhile, the Honor MagicPad 3 is the brand’s latest flagship tablet, weighing 595g and it is only 5.79mm thick. It features a 13.3″ 165Hz 3.2K (3200×2136) OLED display that boasts a HDR peak brightness of 1000nits. Under the hood, it gets a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor but there are no details on the RAM and storage configurations for our local market.
The MagicPad 3 comes with a dual-camera setup for the rear which consists of a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro shooter. Meanwhile, the front comes with a 9MP camera.
Powering the device is a large 12,450mAh Honor Silicon Carbon battery and it also comes equipped with an 8-speaker setup. In terms of connectivity, it supports WiFi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4.
For a more versatile multi-tasking experience, the MagicPad 3 is also offered with the optional Magic Pencil 3 stylus as well as the MagicPad 3 Smart Touch Keyboard.
This tablet runs on MagicOS 9.0.1 based on Android 15 and it has access to the Google Play Store.
