Road repair after landslide shuts Jalan Ulu Paku at KM4.46, drivers urged to take detours

BETONG, Sept 18: Motorists are advised of a temporary road closure at KM4.46 on Jalan Ulu Paku due to ongoing repair works following a recent landslide.

In an advisory notice today, Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak stated that the closure is located near Rh Samu and will remain in effect for the duration of the repair works.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution and strictly follow all safety signs to prevent accidents.

Commuters are advised to use an alternative route via Jalan Sungai Langit and Jalan Ulu Layar to access the Pan Borneo Highway.

The public is reminded to remain vigilant and patient while the road works are underway to ensure safety for all.
