This November, the KL Seni & STEM Festival 2025 (KLSSF 2025) will transform the KLCC Park precinct into a vibrant hub of creativity, science and culture. Presented by Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) and Petrosains, the three-day festival — running from 21 to 23 November 2025 at Plaza 20008, KLCC Park — invites the public to experience an exciting mix of art, heritage and science for free.
Carrying the tagline “Where Arts, Heritage and Science Unite”, KLSSF 2025 marks the first-ever collaboration between DFP and Petrosains, combining their shared vision of making arts and knowledge accessible to all. The event aims to strengthen Kuala Lumpur’s position as a leading destination for culture and innovation while supporting the nation’s preparations for Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
Local ShowcaseNow in its seventh year, DFP’s annual arts initiative has long served as a platform to showcase Malaysia’s traditional and contemporary performing arts. Through collaborations with local artists and cultural groups, DFP continues its mission to preserve, nurture and promote the country’s diverse artistic heritage.
Founded in 1999 as part of PETRONAS’ education-driven social impact initiative, Petrosains, The Discovery Centre is renowned for sparking curiosity through interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programmes. By partnering with DFP, Petrosains brings its passion for discovery into a new creative space, introducing science as a form of art and storytelling for all ages.
Free For AllVisitors to KLSSF 2025 can expect a wide array of attractions, from captivating cultural performances and interactive science shows to a vibrant heritage market. Local artisans will present traditional crafts including batik, pottery, woodwork, embroidery, kebaya nyonya, sarees and pearl accessories, while the main stage at Plaza 20008 will host live music and cultural dance performances by renowned local arts groups.
Meanwhile, Petrosains will captivate audiences with imaginative, hands-on experiences such as the Hue Done It? and Circular Fuel Show, alongside family-friendly workshops like Light Works, DIY Instrument, and Bottle Beats, blending creativity with scientific wonder.
Open daily from 10am to 10pm, KLSSF 2025 promises to be a joyful celebration of innovation, heritage and community spirit. The festival is poised to become one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year.
