ETS Service From KL Sentral-JB Sentral Starts On 12 Dec, 30% Discounts Available

Starting 12 December 2025, travellers can travel to JB Sentral, Johor Bahru on the Electronic Train Service (ETS)! The journey from KL Sentral to JB Sentral on the ETS takes about five hours with 16 stops along the way.

Ticket fares start from RM82 onwards and can be purchased from the KITS Style app,  Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB)’s official website here, or at KTMB kiosk machines.

To celebrate the launch, KTMB is currently offering a 30% discount with the promo code ‘’JBBEST.’’

The discounted tickets is applicable for the KL Sental-JB Sentral-KL Sentral sector from 12 December 2025 to 11 January 2026. There are only 5,000 promo codes available.

KTMB said the launch of the ETS service to Johor marked the completion of the Gemas-Johor Bahru electric double-tracking project, which covers 192km and has 11 stations.
