Art is a weird concept…

Sometimes it confuses you, sometimes it moves you, and sometimes it makes you stop and stare at something as ordinary as a chair, a lamp, or even a tin can, and for a moment, it feels like it has a story to tell.

And there’s something quietly powerful about that experience. Art, in any form, can lift your mood, calm your mind, and even spark curiosity.

Renowned artist Pablo Picasso once said, “Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.”

In that sense, art can sweep away the monotony, the stress, and the worries that pile up on us every day, leaving room for wonder and a fresh perspective.

So in case you’re feeling a little dusty from the same old routine, a new in-store experience in town might just be the perfect way to shake it off.

A Little Wonderland in KL

Tucked away on the street-level boulevard of Publika Shopping Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, the IQOS x Seletti in-store experience is a whole vibe.

At first glance, it feels less like an average storefront and more like a chill lounge—the kind of spot where you might grab a coffee and kick back with friends.

But linger a little, and you’ll realise this isn’t your typical hangout.

The space is currently decked up in a delightful mash-up of playful chaos and high-fashion Italian pop-art, making you feel a bit like Alice tumbling into Wonderland — only here, the Mad Hatter’s tea party has collided with an artist’s wildest dream.

This whimsical vision comes from Stefano Seletti, an Italian designer who has made a career out of turning everyday objects into extraordinary pieces of art.

His work is bold, colourful, and unapologetically playful. So imagine the famed artist Andy Warhol designing furniture or transforming your living space into a gallery of pop-art curiosities.

Seletti himself says that his goal is to reimagine ordinary products and make them precious. He constantly wants people to feel joy, curiosity, and happiness, and to spark conversation through his designs.

Monkey Business, Heart Sculptures & Tiny Surprises

Walking through the Seletti in-store experience, it is hard not to get drawn in by every detail. There are chairs shaped like sunny-side-up eggs just waiting to end up on your story feed.

A life-sized monkey sculpture that gives you a cheeky side-eye. Bubblegum-pink lamp-statue heads that look like they’ve been swiped straight out of Roman ruins.

And there are small surprises tucked everywhere, waiting to be noticed.

Mouse-shaped lamps peek out from shelves, golden bananas catch the light and glisten, and a heart-shaped sculpture manages to be both romantic and slightly intimidating at the same time. Even the pillows and cups just scream Seletti.

Every quirky piece scattered around feels random in the best ways, and the whole space feels immersive, playful, and just a little audacious.

It’s the kind of place where ordinary objects start to feel like characters in a story. And through all that, you can still sit back, sip your coffee, chat with like-minded people, and just soak it all in.

Art You Can Hold (Literally)

At the heart of this showcase is the IQOS ILUMA i x Seletti Limited Edition—the latest in the line of IQOS devices that’s been elevated by Seletti’s touch and transformed into more than just a gadget, but a miniature masterpiece you can hold in your hand.

This compact device carries all the boldness and playful energy you’d expect from Seletti. Think of it as a tiny version of his larger-than-life art pieces, only one that fits neatly in your pocket.

Every line, every curve, every glint of chrome is deliberate, designed to catch the eye, spark conversation, and even be fully customisable to your taste.

Seletti says the goal was to create an object that commands attention, just like his iconic decor pieces.

And his signature style is impossible to miss — from shiny chrome-gold finishes to bold black-and-gold zig-zags and gradient patterns, all giving the device that unmistakable boujee charm and making it stand out anywhere.

Even the packaging gets in on the fun. One of the devices comes in a custom can packaging — a cheeky nod to Seletti’s lifelong love for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Open it, and it feels like unwrapping a tiny treasure chest to an art piece you can carry with you wherever you go.

Experience Wonder Before It’s Gone

The IQOS ILUMA i x Seletti Limited Edition is now sold out in-store and online.
