13 hospitalised after two buses collide

SINGAPORE - Thirteen people were taken to hospital after two buses collided at a bus stop outside Sengkang Community Hub on Monday.

The incident took place along Sengkang East Road at about 11.15am on Monday. A 68-year-old male bus driver were among those taken to hospital conscious, The Straits Times reported.

Meanwhile, in a Facebook post, bus operator Go-Ahead Singapore said its bus service 104 was involved in an accident along Sengkang East Road.

"Emergency services were promptly activated and the injured passengers have been conveyed to the hospital and are receiving medical attention.

"The safety and well-being of those involved are our top priority. Investigations are ongoing and we are cooperating with all relevant authorities," it said. - BERNAMA
