Motorola Razr 2026 certification surfaces with familiar design and new specs
1 hour ago
Motorola has clearly been busy, from the upcoming Razr Fold to the FIFA edition Razr 2025. That never meant the company was going to forego the next lineup of Motorola’s Razr 2026 clamshell foldables, and new regulatory listings leak color, design, and key details.
According to a recently published listing on the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center’s website, the Motorola Razr 2026 will look very similar to the previous model (via Android Authority). The phone comes in at least one colorful option, including what the listing calls PANTONE Afircan Violet.
It appears the image has since been removed.
Of the specs listed, the Motorola Razr 2026 will come with an eight-core SoC, but there are no specific manufacturers listed. If Motorola sticks with the same chipmaker for this lineup, the phone could carry a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chipset, or something that falls within the same eight-core category. Unfortunately, these regulatory listings tend to leave out precise information.
It does, however, suggest the Razr 2026 will offer more RAM and storage choices, citing up to 18GB of RAM. That’s a massive jump that almost seems like a typo. On top of that, the phone listing suggests its two internal batteries will be rated for 1,090 and 3,185 mAh. That’s rated capacity, which could vary from typical usage.
The Motorola Razr 2026 is reportedly also getting a 50MP 3x telephoto lens, which would mean it sits more in line with the more expensive Plus and Ultra variants. Other array details are omitted, though the leaked device image suggests a main and telephoto offering will make up a two-camera setup.
Motorola’s Razr 2026 series may be announced as early as next month. The company has historically announced new devices in spring, and with the Motorola Razr Fold already being teased heavily, it’s likely we aren’t too far off.
