Acer Malaysia launches new gaming devices at Predator Kasi Onz event

Acer Malaysia has introduced a new lineup of Predator and Nitro gaming products aimed at gamers seeking powerful performance across laptops, desktops and displays.

Available for purchase with great promotions at the Predator Kasi Onz roadshow happening at Sunway Pyramid this week, the latest lineup includes the Predator Helios Neo 16 gaming laptop, Predator Orion 5000 gaming desktop, Predator XB273U X2 gaming monitor and Nitro PG241Y P1 portable gaming display.

Predator Helios Neo 16 Brings High-End Gaming Performance to More Gamers

Leading the new lineup is the Predator Helios Neo 16, a gaming laptop designed for gamers who want strong gaming performance without stepping into ultra-premium pricing territory. Powered by up to an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, the laptop is capable of handling demanding AAA titles, livestreaming and multitasking workloads with ease.

To ensure stable thermal performance during long gaming sessions, Acer equips the laptop with its 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D cooling fan technology. The Predator Helios Neo 16 also features a 16-inch 16:10 IPS display with up to WQXGA+ resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time and 100% sRGB colour coverage, delivering sharp visuals and fluid gameplay.

Connectivity is handled by Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro with Killer Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5G Ethernet support for lower latency and improved network stability. Audio features include DTS:X Ultra, Hi-Res Audio certification and Acer PurifiedVoice AI noise reduction for clearer communication during gaming and livestreaming.

The Predator Helios Neo 16 is available in several configurations, with prices starting from RM7,299 for RTX 5050 variants and up to RM9,999 for RTX 5070 models.

Predator Orion 5000 Targets Serious Desktop Gamers

For desktop gamers, Acer has also launched the Predator Orion 5000, a high-performance gaming desktop housed in a 45L chassis made with 65% post-consumer recycled plastic. The desktop features an EMI-compliant tempered glass side panel alongside customisable ARGB lighting for a more premium gaming setup.

Under the hood, the Predator Orion 5000 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics. The desktop also utilises Acer’s Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system to maintain airflow and thermal efficiency under heavy workloads.

Memory and storage specifications include 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, expandable up to 128GB, alongside a 1TB SSD with additional M.2 and SATA expansion support. Wi-Fi 7 connectivity is also included for faster wireless performance.

The Predator Orion 5000 is priced at RM14,999 in Malaysia.

Predator XB273U X2 Offers Fast QHD Gaming Visuals

Acer is also introducing the Predator XB273U X2 gaming monitor, targeting competitive gamers who demand smoother gameplay and fast response times. The 27-inch QHD monitor supports an overclocked 210Hz refresh rate and a rapid 0.5ms response time to reduce motion blur during fast-paced gameplay.

With its QHD resolution, the monitor delivers sharper visuals while maintaining smooth frame delivery for competitive esports titles and immersive gaming experiences alike.

The Predator XB273U X2 is priced at RM799 and comes with a three-year pick-up and return warranty.

Nitro PG241Y P1 Brings Portable Gaming Displays to Malaysia

For gamers and creators who need additional screen space on the go, Acer has launched the Nitro PG241Y P1, which the company describes as Malaysia’s first 23.8-inch portable gaming monitor.

The portable display features a 144Hz IPS panel that delivers smoother visuals and wider viewing angles while remaining compact enough for mobile setups. Through a single USB-C connection, the monitor can easily be paired with laptops, gaming consoles or handheld gaming devices.

The Nitro PG241Y P1 also includes a built-in kickstand and VESA mount support for greater flexibility across different usage scenarios.

The portable monitor is priced at RM649.
