SHAH ALAM – Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jason Mraz is set to return to Malaysia for the first time in seven years as part of his Asia Tour 2026, bringing his signature feel-good sound to Kuala Lumpur this October.
Organised by Zues Event Sdn Bhd, the concert titled "Jason Mraz Asia Tour 2026 Live in Kuala Lumpur" will take place at the National Hockey Stadium, Bukit Jalil on Oct 31.
Mraz, best known for his diamond-certified global hit "I’m Yours" which has surpassed two billion streams, is expected to deliver a setlist packed with fan favourites and newer material.
His catalogue also includes widely loved tracks such as "I Won’t Give Up," "Lucky" with Colbie Caillat, "Have It All," "I Feel Like Dancing" and "The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)."
Zues Event director Jeffery Chin said the concert would bring a refreshing live music experience for Malaysian audiences.
"We are continuing the momentum from our recent K-pop concert with a different kind of connection and energy. Many Malaysians grew up listening to Jason Mraz and his music carries positivity, emotion and authenticity that still resonates strongly today.
"We believe Jason Mraz’s return to Kuala Lumpur will attract not only his loyal fan base, but also music lovers looking for a feel-good, world-class live performance experience.
"The night also promises sparks and drone-lit skies," he said.
Tickets go on sale via etix.my on June 11 (Thursday) at 10.50am, with prices ranging from RM158 to RM688 across six seated categories, subject to fees and taxes.
A Songwriters Hall of Fame honouree, Mraz began his career as a busker and coffeehouse performer before securing a record deal that launched him into international fame.
He has since released nine studio albums, earning multiple platinum and multi-platinum certifications.
Beyond music, Mraz has expanded his creative pursuits into theatre, film and television.
He appeared in Sara Bareilles’ Broadway musical Waitress, served as executive producer of the documentary "The Opener" and was runner-up on Dancing with the Stars Season 32.
He is also recognised for his humanitarian work through the Jason Mraz Foundation, which supports inclusive arts education and equality initiatives.
Profits from his 2020 album "Look for the Good" were donated to organisations focused on social justice.
