Two Malaysian Bars Named Among Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026

The full Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 list has been revealed, including Kuala Lumpur’s Three X Co and Bar Trigona among this year’s honourees.

The wait is over—the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 rankings are officially here! Recognising the region’s finest cocktail destinations, the annual list celebrates bars that continue to push the boundaries of drinks and hospitality. Spanning cities from Singapore and Hong Kong to Seoul, Bangkok and Tokyo, this year’s most coveted spot goes to Guangzhou’s Hope & Sesame, which has been crowned The Best Bar in Asia 2026. Flying the flag for Malaysia are two Kuala Lumpur bars in the top 50, joining the five local establishments previously announced on the extended 51–100 list and bringing the country’s total representation to seven.

Leading Malaysia’s showing on the main list is Three X Co at No. 32, which has also been crowned The Best Bar in Malaysia 2026. A few spots down from its No. 15 placement last year, the Bangsar speakeasy continues to hold its own as one of KL’s most exciting cocktail destinations. Tucked behind a barbershop at Bangsar Shopping Centre, the team is known for turning bold ideas into thoughtfully crafted drinks. Last year, its ‘IndiVDuality’ menu travelled across the country, exploring how different communities connected with its character-driven creations. Now, Individuality 2.0 takes the concept even further, with playful cocktails inspired by distinct personas that celebrate self-expression.

Also making the main list is Bar Trigona at No. 38, climbing one spot up from last year and continuing its impressive streak as Malaysia’s longest consecutively ranked bar on Asia’s 50 Best Bars. Located within Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, the eight-year-old establishment has been a mainstay in the country’s cocktail scene since its debut on the list in 2018. Known for its drinks centred around local trigona honey and Malaysian flavours, Bar Trigona continues to showcase the country’s biodiversity and creativity through every carefully crafted serve.
