20yo woman unconscious after car plunges into drain in Landeh

KUCHING, Sept 3: A 20-year-old woman was found unconscious after the car she was driving skidded off the road and plunged into a drain at Jalan Landeh, Taman Landeh in Kota Padawan, early today.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Siburan responded to the emergency at 12.10am, with a team of firefighters led by PBK I Mohd Ismail Zulkifli dispatched to the scene.

The accident involved a Perodua Myvi. The victim had been removed from the vehicle by members of the public before firefighters arrived.

Firefighters stabilised the woman by fitting her with a cervical collar and conducted an assessment to check for injuries while awaiting the arrival of an ambulance.

She was subsequently handed over to ambulance personnel for further treatment. — DayakDaily
