Oppo has officially announced its latest mid-range smartphones for the Malaysian market: the Oppo A7 Pro 5G and Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G.
While the previous-generation Oppo A6 Pro 5G launched with a 6,500mAh battery and a 120Hz AMOLED display for RM1,199, this year’s lineup introduces a new Pro Max tier alongside the standard Pro model.
Both new devices place heavy emphasis on battery capacity and upgraded 50MP front and rear cameras.
Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G SpecsPositioned as the higher-tier option, the Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G features a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 pixels and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.

For photography, the front camera uses a 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom sensor with a 100° field of view, AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch (1x to 0.6x), and Natural Tone colour calibration. Over on the rear, it gets a 50MP main camera with a 1/2-inch sensor, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, AI Night Mode, and an AI Popout feature.

The phone also comes with Reverse Wired Charging support to power up other accessories. Software-wise, it boots ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box and includes Oppo’s 6-Year Fluency Protection guarantee.
