WhatsApp may soon let iPhone users add a third account

After recently letting iPhone users add a second account to the same app, WhatsApp is now working on expanding support to up to three accounts. Here are the details.
WhatsApp to support up to three accountsLast June, WhatsApp officially rolled out support for multiple accounts on iPhone, allowing users to add a second account to the same app.
The move came after the feature had spent several months in beta testing, giving users an alternative to relying on WhatsApp Business as a workaround for managing a second account.
Now, as spotted by WABetaInfo, the app appears to be working on expanding the feature to let users switch between up to three accounts without logging out.
From WABetaInfo:
The report adds that each account will keep its own chat history, notifications, privacy settings, backups, and media.
WABetaInfo notes that while two accounts may be enough for many users, the feature could come in handy for those who have different combinations of work and personal phone numbers.
That said, the feature is still under development and isn’t available to beta testers yet, suggesting there may still be some time before a wider rollout.
