Apple Starts Moving Up iPhone Duo Delivery Dates

Apple has started bumping up estimated delivery dates for some customers who pre-ordered the iPhone Duo in countries such as the U.S. and Japan.

Apple iPhone Duo Early Feature RejectedIn the U.S., for example, well-known YouTuber Matt Gonzalez today said his iPhone Duo pre-order initially showed a December delivery estimate, but Apple's online store now shows him an earlier delivery estimate of between November 20 and November 30. A handful of other customers have seen their iPhone Duo delivery estimates bumped up by weeks, according to comments shared by MacRumors Forums members in the U.S. pre-order thread for the device. In a statement issued later on Friday, Apple said demand for the iPhone Duo was "nothing short of extraordinary."

iPhone Duo launches this Friday, October 23.
