Fans Asked, Mekdi Delivered! Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce Now Available in Bottles

Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce is truly a favourite among Malaysians. Some keep extra packets in their fridges or kitchen drawers, while others collect them in jars at home for their next meal.

Some even bring this favourite sauce along when travelling overseas!

From Packets to Bottles

Now, Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce is finally available in a bottle! As a tribute to its fans, McDonald’s Malaysia is introducing the much-loved sauce in bottles for a limited time. Malaysia is the first McDonald’s market in the world to offer it this packaging.

The idea came from conversations and social media posts shared by fans about how they enjoy Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce. Many wanted their favourite sauce in a bottle, and McDonald’s Malaysia is now making that wish come true.

“We know Malaysians really love Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce. Some fans have shared stories of bringing the sauce with them when travelling overseas, showing just how much they love it. Their posts and requests inspired us to introduce Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce in a bottle for the first time in the world,” said Chin Mei Lee, Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald’s Malaysia.

“Through this limited-time offer, we want to celebrate the unique ways Malaysians enjoy Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce while thanking them for their support and for sharing their moments with Mekdi over the years,” she added.

Each Bottle Contains 44 Packets of Sauce

Each bottle of Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce contains the equivalent of approximately 44 packets! The familiar flavour enjoyed with McDonald’s favourite meals can now be brought home and paired with any meal of choice.

Fans Get to Exchange and Personalise Their Bottles

At a special McDonald’s Malaysia event held at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang, on the evening of 21 October 2026, fans had the chance to exchange one packet of Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce from their personal stash for a free bottle. The offer was limited to the first 500 redemptions.

Fans also had the opportunity to personalise their bottles with their names at a dedicated station during the event, making their Mekdi’s Chilli Sauce bottles extra special keepsakes to take home.

Get a Bottle for RM10 with a McValue Meal

From 22 October to 4 November 2026, customers can purchase one bottle for RM10 with every McValue Meal purchase at all McDonald’s restaurants, including through delivery orders, while stocks last.
