SBS’s upcoming drama “Buried Hearts” has unveiled new stills of its supporting cast!
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won.
Woo Hyun plays Cha Kang Cheon, the chairman of Daesan Group, which is the target of Seo Dong Joo (Park Hyung Sik)’s ambitions. Cha Kang Cheon is sharp and aggressive, with a management style that reflects his personality. While actor Woo Hyun is known for typically playing warm, friendly roles, his character in “Buried Hearts” is one driven by intense ambition. The production team has been impressed by his ability to change expressions based on the situation.
Kim Jung Nan will play Cha Deok Hee, a character who hides her desires behind a facade of elegance. Cha Deok Hee, the eldest daughter of Daesan Group chairman Cha Kang Cheon and the wife of Heo Il Do (Lee Hae Young), aims to make sure her son inherits Daesan Group. Actress Kim Jung Nan is expected to add depth to the role by showing the character’s moments of materialism peeking out from behind her mask of refined elegance.
Do Ji Won plays Ji Young Soo, a former popular announcer now running a small bakery. Her connection to Daesan Group is close but shrouded in mystery, and Do Ji Won’s nuanced acting is likely to spark viewers’ curiosity.
Hong Soo Hyun portrays Cha Guk Hee, the second daughter of Cha Kang Cheon and the president of Daesan Chemicals. Hong Soo Hyun is expected to bring the character’s bold, unapologetic desires to life with her stable acting and expressive range.
The drama also features other noteworthy characters, including Yeom Hee Cheol (Kwon Soo Hyun), Heo Tae Yoon (Yoon Sang Hyun), Seok Su Kyung (Jang So Yeon), and Ji Sun Woo (Cha Woo Min).
“Buried Hearts” will premiere on February 21 at 10 p.m. KST, taking over the time slot currently occupied by “Love Scout.”
