Sushi King Turns 30 — and They’re Going BIG

From the kaiten belt to your hearts, Sushi King is serving up its biggest celebration everrrr as it turns the big 3-0! That’s right — Malaysia’s OG conveyor belt sushi spot is rolling out a whole new vibe, a massive birthday bash, and yes, a FRESH new lewk. ????✨

Since 1995, Sushi King has been on a mission: making authentic Japanese flavours super accessible — no fancy fine dining, just good food, good vibes, and now, HALAL-certified eats at all their outlets since 2016. ????

And guess what? The party kicked off in Putrajaya with a sneak peek at their upgraded menu — we’re talking Yakimono, Agemono, and over 60 sushi options zooming around on their epic 100-metre-long kaiten belt ????????. With over 200 menu items (hello bento, donburi, ramen, and udon), it’s basically a Japanese food lover’s dream come true.

Sushi King’s very own Head Chef, Takeshi Torita, flew in with his sushi skills on full display. ????‍????✂️ Hailing from Tokyo and serving Malaysians for 12 years now, Chef Takeshi wowed the crowd with his precision salmon slicing. And that’s not all, besties. Sushi King’s been mixing things up with Wasabi-infused specials (yep, Wasabi is now the main character) – bold, spicy, and totally limited-edition. ????️????

But this is just the beginning. Sushi King’s glow-up starts now with a whole new store design rolling out in 2025 – sleeker, classier, and 100% on-brand for a sushi empire. ???????? And guess what?
