Big Tiny Lands in Klang Valley: Tiny Houses, Big Vibes

Okay, gather round, friends, the tiny house wave has just landed in Malaysia. Singapore’s own eco-tourism disruptor Big Tiny Pte. Ltd. has dropped two eco-conscious mini homes at Amigo Clubhouse @ 16 Sierra, Puchong. Yup, Klang Valley. Get ready to downsize in style.

Let’s zoom out a little: Big Tiny started in 2017 (Singapore) with three co-founders: Adrian Chia, Dave Ng, and Jeff Yeo. From one tiny house in Australia to over 650 tiny homes across 19 countries (Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, Europe, etc.), they’ve seriously leveled up. Big Tiny doesn’t just drop a cabin and bounce, they handle everything: design, manufacture, deployment, and operations. They transform unused land into curated, low-impact stays.

Their magic formula? Link landowners, house owners, and travellers in one ecosystem. Landowners get income without huge upgrades, owners earn passive returns, and travellers stay somewhere with major “Instagram + nature + chill” vibes. They’re also pretty nerdy (in the best way) about sustainability:

They’re also serious about credibility, their Lazarus Island project in Singapore is already GSTC-certified, and they’re pushing to get all their Escape Parks (clusters of tiny houses) certified by 2026.

The Malaysia debut is a collab with IOI Properties Group Berhad (owner of Amigo Clubhouse) because nothing says “let’s do this right” like pairing with a developer that also cares about sustainability and ESG.
