These tourists just experienced the first magical bite of apam balik, and we can tell they’d go back for more.

When it comes to visiting Malaysia, one simply cannot resist exploring the bustling night markets here, where culinary delights just hit different.

In their recent escapades, @wheresmichaelofficial and his wife were particularly captivated by one of our staple kuih- apam balik.

Drawn by the sweet aroma of caramalized brown sugar, the couple salivated and gave in. Their verdict? A wonderful taste they’d never encountered before.

It’s safe to say that the soft kuih’s combination of sweet and nutty flavour was too irresistable, which had them hilariously remarking, “what diet?!”

We can certainly all agree that dieting is not exactly possible when you’re in Malaysia…
