Trip.com Expands Local Collaborations In Malaysia Through Strategic Partnership With Galaxy Asia Car Rental

Trip.com, a global one-stop travel service provider, has announced a strategic partnership with Galaxy Asia Car Rental, Malaysia’s leading car rental company, to elevate the car rental experience for domestic and international travellers. 

Through this collaboration, Trip.com branding will be featured prominently at key Galaxy Asia Car Rental locations, including its flagship branch in central Kuala Lumpur and official counters at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminals 1 and 2.

In addition to enhanced visibility, the collaboration leverages the strengths of both brands to offer reliable, trusted car rental services to travellers seeking convenience and flexibility on their journeys.

According to Trip.com data, Malaysia’s car rental market has recorded solid growth momentum over the past year.

Car rental bookings in Malaysia achieved triple-digit growth year-on-year, led by users from Malaysia, China, and Singapore, reflecting strong interest from both domestic travellers and international visitors.

To commemorate the partnership, Trip.com and Galaxy Asia Car Rental are offering special online-to-offline (O2O) holiday treats to customers.

From 15-25 December, the first five travellers who book a Galaxy Asia Car Rental vehicle through Trip.com and pick up their vehicles at the KLIA T1, KLIA2, or flagship outlet in Miharja, KL will receive a free box of Christmas cookies.

From road trips across the country to leisurely explorations around popular cities, the partnership empowers travellers to discover the best of Malaysia.

Travellers can access car rental services on Trip.com, available in over 200 countries and 10,000 cities worldwide, including popular destinations across Asia and more.

The platform offers dedicated customer service in multiple languages, support for international driving licenses and an accurate price comparison system that allows customers to find the perfect rental car in just three minutes.
