Prabowo Contacts Anwar, Muslim World Leaders For Aidilfitri, Strengthens Bilateral And International Relations

JAKARTA, March 23 (Bernama) -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has contacted several world leaders, including Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, in an effort to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance international cooperation.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said that, besides Anwar, Prabowo also held telephone conversations with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, according to the Antara News Agency.

“This outreach is part of efforts to maintain close relations and cooperation between countries, especially during the meaningful Hari Raya celebrations,” he said.
