Gentari and MBPP deploy 110kW DC Charger at CIMB Bank Menara BHL in George Town

Gentari and Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) continue to deploy more street-level EV chargers on the Penang Island.

The latest location is at CIMB Bank at Menara BHL along Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah. Unlike other Gentari x MBPP locations which are mostly 50kW DC, you can enjoy faster charging as the latest deployment can deliver up to 110kW.

For this location, Gentari x MBPP has deployed a 110kW DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles which are placed next to two side-parking charging bays. The charger is priced at RM1.60 per kWh and Gentari members can save more with a subscription plan.

You can activate and pay for charging via Gentari Go, ChargEV and JomCharge.

As part of the opening promo, Gentari is offering 15% discount for two weeks (27 March to 11 April) for this new charger. Just enter the promo code GO15BHL when you activate the charger.

Take note that you can’t stack this promo on top of other existing promotions or discounts, including Gentari membership.
