No one likes getting stuck in traffic jams, but when one gets caught in traffic while trying to rush home due to personal tragedies, it’s a panic like no other.

A woman recently went viral on social media after she was photographed holding a placard which told motorists why she was rushing back home and hoped that they would give way to her.

In a Facebook post by Nor Azah Nazarudin, it showed several cars being caught in standstill traffic at an undisclosed location.

A photo in the post showed a closeup of one of the cars stuck in traffic, where a woman is seen partially sticking her body out of the rear window while holding a placard which read:

The sight left the OP deeply saddened, who wrote in the caption, “May God ease the burdens of this sister’s family until they reach home. The road’s really jammed. My condolences.”

Netizens’ reactions

A handful of netizens were brokenhearted to see the woman pleading with other drivers to give way so she could see her deceased father soon.

They also expressed their condolences for the tragedy and wished her a safe journey home.

A woman, believed to be the one who held the placard, later wrote in the comment section that her father had been laid to rest.

She also thanked those who willingly gave way to her vehicle so she could reach home as soon as possible.
