M'sian Woman Says Husband Used EPF Money To Buy New Rims For His Car But Left Hers Unfixed | WeirdKaya
In a marriage, it’s important for both the husband and wife to make each other their priority so that the relationship can be strengthened and remain harmonious.

For one woman however, she was left questioning the state of her marriage after her husband didn’t seem to care about the difficulties she faced by having to run errands with a broken down car.

Claimed repairs were beyond budget

According to mStar, the woman wrote in a social media post that she had not spoken to her husband for a week and no longer prepared meals for him.

She then explained what caused her to do so:

“My car broke down, and I asked my husband to get it repaired using the money I gave him. But it’s been a month and my car’s not fixed yet.

“His excuse was that the repair fees were higher than the budget I gave him, and he even told me to turn to my family for help in paying for the repairs,” she wrote.

Bought new rims

And if that wasn’t hurtful enough, the woman’s disappointment was further exacerbated by a notification on her husband’s phone.

According to the woman, the notification showed that he had withdrawn money from his EPF account to purchase new rims for his car.

She added that her unfixed car was the one she used to buy things for the children, purchase household expenses, go to the clinic, and take the kids around.

‘You’re not his priority’

In the comments, netizens urged the woman to insist in getting back the money she gave to her husband to fix the car as it was apparent she was no longer his priority.

They also urged her to leave her husband for good, adding that it was better to be single than to live with a calculative partner.

The woman later revealed that her husband eventually returned her the money after she asked for it.

However, she claimed that he responded snarkily when she told him she would take the car to be fixed, saying: “If anything happens midway, don’t trouble me over it.”
