Netflix’s Husbands In Action Cast And Character

Directed by Park Gyu Tae, “Husbands In Action” tells the story of two husbands, Hwang Chung Sik and Lee Min Seok, who are at loggerheads upon meeting each other. Chung Sik does not like Min Seok because he is married to his ex-wife but when faced with a crisis, he must team up with him. The recently released Netflix movie turns out to be a good and funny action comedy film for the audience. Jin Sun-kyu as Hwang Chung Sik

In “Husbands In Action,” Jin Sun-kyu plays police detective Hwang Chung Sik, who is famous for his wit and bravery. Chung Sik likes to show off his charisma by arresting criminals and drug peddlers in a cinematic style. He struggles to arrive in time to meet his daughter Yeon Ju because he is always busy with investigations. When Chung Sik learns that his daughter and ex-wife are kidnapped, he does everything in his power to save them. Jin Sun-kyu has acted in a lot of television shows such as “The Price Of Confession,” “Typhoon Family,” “The Witch,” “Aema,” “UDT: Heroes Next Door,” and “Doctors.” Apart from that, he has also been part of a lot of movies like “The Mayor,” “The Outlaws,” “The Swindlers,” “Tunnel,” and “Amazon Bullseye.”

Kim Ji Suk as Ma Do Jun

Ji Suk has showcased his acting in movies like “My Paparotti,” “The Sleepless,” “What Happened Last Night,” “Lady Daddy, “Seoul Raiders,” “Love In Magic,” “200 Pounds Beauty,” and “Eye For An Eye.” He was also a part of several Kdramas such as “Monthly Magazine Home,” “Doom At Your Service,” “Kiss Sixth Sense,” “Work Later, Drink Now,” “Love Rediscovered,” “Cashero,” and “Destined With You.” In “Husbands In Action,” Kim Ji Suk plays Ma Do Jun, a young gangster who controls Incheon with his innovative strategies. Do Jun is shown to be the top drug seller in his area. The new batch of drugs creates a stir, leading to a thorough investigation. During a police raid, Do Jun and his henchmen get defeated by Detective Chung Sik and his team. No matter how hard Do Jun fights, gets thrown behind the bars by Chung Sik.

Gong Myoung as Lee Min Seok

Gong Myoung plays Lee Min Seok who’s married to Detective Sun-kyu’s former wife, Si Nae. Since Min Seok becomes the legal guardian of Yeon Ju, he goes to her school program as her father. When Sun-kyu enters the program hall, he gets infuriated to see Min Seok and fights with him over a seat. Min Seok tries his best to maintain his composure but ultimately loses it when Sun-kyu tries pushing him off the chair. However, they stop fighting when Do Jun’s wife calls and informs them that she has kidnapped both Yeon Ju and Si Nae. Myoung has acted in movies like “Love Untangled,” “Citizen Of A Kind,” “20th Century Girl,” “Noryang: Deadly Sea,” “Hansan: Rising Dragon,” “Extreme Job,” “Homme Fatale,” and “A Girl At My Door.” He has also done television several series such as “Mystery Freshman,” “Revolutionary Love,” “Drinking Solo,” “Beautiful You,” “Individualist Ms. Ji-Young,” “Lovers Of The Red Sky,” “Happy If You Died,” and “Second Shot At Love.”

Yoon Kyung Ho as Kim Yong Gang

Yoon Kyung Ho plays Kim Yong Gang, a notorious gangster who got jailed for illegal activities. Back when things were not so complicated, Yong Gang was the undisputed leader of Incheon and his gang ruled the streets. After stepping out of prison, Yong Gang decides to take control of Incheon again. However, Yong Gang gets thrown out of his own company when he goes to confront Do Jun and his wife. Kyung Ho has acted in several films like “My Daughter Is A Zombie,” “Alienoid: The Return To The Future,” “Revolver,” “The Desperate Chase,” “Escape From Mogadishu,” “Kill Boksoon,” “Love Reset,” “Smugglers,” and “Toxic.” He has also showcased his skills in television shows such as “My Name,” “Crime Puzzle,” “Itaewon Class,” “SF8,” and “When The Devil Calls Your Name.” He gained spotlight as Jeong Yong-nam in the Kdrama “All Of Us Are Dead.”

Kang Han Na as Si Nae

You have seen Kang Han Na in Kdramas like “Frankly Speaking,” “Cashero,” “Bloody Heart,” “Bite Sisters,” “Start-Up,” “Record Of Youth,” “Familiar Wife,” “Rain Or Shine,” “Designated Survivor: 60 Days,” “To Be Continued,” “Miss Korea,” and “Mom.” She has also acted in several films like “About Family,” “Paper Man,” “Informality,” “No Tears For The Dead,” “Friend 2,” “Fasten Your Seatbelt,” and “Empire Of Lust.” Han Na’s character Si Nae was married to Detective Jin Sun-kyu years ago and they have a daughter named Yeon Ju. After their separation, Si Nae got married to her newly found love, Lee Min Seok and Sun-kyu had to see his daughter on scheduled visits. When Do Jun’s wife sends her henchmen to kidnap Yeon Ju, they also take Si Nae when she tries to fight them off. 

Miscellaneous Cast 

Oh Eun Seo plays Detective Yoon Kyung-jae and Si Nae’s daughter, Hwang Yeon Ju. Lee Da He is Hye Ran, Do Jun’s wife who controls the drug empire and tries bailing him out by kidnapping Yeon Ju and Si Nae. Jeon So Min plays Cho A Ra and Yoon Byung Hee is Detective Woo. Lee Hyun Kul, Lee Han Sol, and Kim Yo Han are the three henchmen who accompany Yong Gang everywhere he goes.
