Non-Muslim Man Praised for Speaking Up After Another Man Brings Dog, Allegedly Eats Pork at R&R

A recent video has gone viral showing a man being confronted after bringing his dog into what is believed to be the Simpang Pulai Southbound Rest and Relax (R&R) stop and placing it on a chair, while he was allegedly eating pork.

In the video, which was recorded by another member of the public, a man wearing a black shirt approached him and asked him to “please be considerate”, saying the R&R is also used by Muslims.

The man in black calmly confronted him, asking if he was Malaysian before reminding him that dogs should not be brought into a halal dining area.

The situation was eventually resolved after the man picked up his dog and left the area.

The man in black has since been praised by many netizens for speaking up, despite not being a Muslim himself.

“Props to the bald guy. I don’t know his name, but even though he’s Chinese, he politely advised the other Chinese man who brought the dog. This is what happens when people don’t understand basic etiquette.”
