Apple TV’s surprise hit series is making the jump to theaters for one night only

While Apple TV has found success at the box office, Apple usually reserves theaters for its movies, not its series. However, one hit show from Apple this year is coming to the cinema for one night only in select venues across the country: Widow’s Bay.
Apple TV is bringing ‘Widow’s Bay’ to AMC Theaters for special screeningsDeadline exclusively reports that Widow’s Bay is going to the movies this month. From the report:
Thehit Apple TV series will be shown at AMC Theaters in six locations on Wednesday, August 12:
Each showing is scheduled for 7:30 pm, local.
Specifically, the screening will consist of the series’ final three episodes. The finale first streamed on Apple TV on June 17. The three-episode run consists of 33-minute, 31-minute, and 48-minute episodes.
