"I waited for 2 hours" - M'sian Devastated to Learn Delivery Rider Passed Away While Delivering Her Order

A recent post has caught the attention of netizens after a woman shared an incident that left her and many other Malaysians heartbroken.

Taking to Threads, Fathin (@fathinaleya) recalled waiting for two hours for her delivery when she noticed that the rider’s location on the app had not moved.

In one of the photos shared in the post, Fathin showed multiple messages she had sent to the rider, but received no response.

Wondering what had happened, her friend decided to call the rider. However, someone else picked up and informed them that the rider had been involved in a road accident and tragically passed away at the scene.

“Guys, I’ve been waiting for this rider for 2 hours. I started wondering why there was no response and why he wasn’t moving. Then, my friend called, and someone picked up.

“They said the rider had been in an accident and passed away at the scene. Please, if anyone knows this rider, they’re looking for his next of kin,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, in the comments section, a woman claiming to be the victim’s fiancée asked everyone to offer prayers for him.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Fathin shared how saddened she was by the news and reminded delivery riders not to rush while working.
