Nothing Phone (3) will be sold in the US, and with carrier support

After a hint earlier this year, it has now been officially confirmed that Nothing Phone (3) will be sold in the US market, and with actual carrier support behind it too.

Every Nothing Phone since 2022’s Nothing Phone (2) has been sold in the US via a “beta program” which limits the device in a few ways. It lacks support after purchase, any form of retail sales beyond the company’s own website, and actual support for US carriers. Devices such as Phone (3a) and others only partially work on US networks.

With Nothing Phone (3), the company is putting forth the added effort for full US support.

Speaking to TechCrunch, Nothing says that “this is the right product, and the right moment, to start scaling in the US.” Carl Pei adds:

Nothing Phone (3) will have “multi-band support” for T-Mobile and AT&T across both LTE and 5G networks. Verizon will probably still be a lottery, if it works at all, but this is still a step in the right direction. Further, Nothing will be selling Phone (3) via both its website and Amazon in the US, while the device will be sold in Canada via Best Buy.

Nothing Headphone (1), the new over-ear model, will also be sold in both regions through retail channels.

A July 1 launch date has already been confirmed for both products, so we don’t have long to wait for more details. Phone (3) is set to bring a higher price compared to past models, but is also said to have the specs to back it up.
