The party is well and truly on this December at W Kuala Lumpur and there is no better time to pop by than Christmastime. Each of the hotel’s dining destinations have introduced specials for the season, happening throughout the month of December. GORDON RAMSAY BAR & GRILL

For a quintessential European Christmas, head to Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, where an à la carte menu paying homage to the season’s warmth awaits. This year, meat and seafood lovers will be spoiled with highlights such as steamed king crab chawanmushi, roast Wagyu prime rib, bronze turkey Wellington, and seared Japanese flounder. If that doesn’t put you in a jolly mood, the dessert options—from a classic Christmas pudding with prune ice cream to Bombe Alaska with Valrhona chocolate and blood orange—are sure to do the trick, especially while sipping on festive cocktails. LOCUS

Locus decided to use the festive season as a (delicious) excuse to introduce a new menu. Perfect for sharing, the menu features some familiar flavours but the spotlight is most definitely on its newcomers. Among our favourites are the duck tsukune and pumpkin risotto. To go along with the festive vibes, its drinks menu welcomes a mulled wine creation that will get you into the jolly mood.

PAVILION HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR

Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur sets the stage for sky-high celebrations, complete with panoramic views of the city across its dining venues. Base Pasta Bar & Bistro keeps the holiday spirit alive with a Christmas feast built around comfort, flavour, and plenty of hearty sharing plates. The meal starts off strong with a trio of appetisers, which includes house-cured duck prosciutto bruschetta, house salad, and grilled tomato & ricotta salad. For mains, diners can look forward to signature pasta dishes like rigatoni carbonara alongside citrus-brined grilled chicken with ciku hot sauce and a flaky seafood & leak puff. Ignis KL presents a specially curated menu that brings gourmet flavours to your holiday celebrations. You’ll find an array of refreshing starters like burrata with cherry tomatoes, burnt grape and orange in smoked balsamic vinaigrette, and a crisp arugula salad with pear, walnut and gorgonzola dressing.
