5 men arrested for alleged reckless ridingThe operation also led to the arrest of five men suspected of riding their motorcycles recklessly and endangering other road users.

Police reminded riders not to engage in dangerous riding or illegal street racing, saying such behaviour could put both themselves and other road users at risk.
Young riders brought in to pray and reflectApart from enforcement action, some of the young riders stopped during the operation were also brought into a prayer room for a prayer and reflection session.
Led by an imam, the session was intended to encourage the riders to think about the consequences of reckless behaviour on the road and develop greater awareness of road safety.
Rather than relying solely on summonses and seizures, the initiative also served as a reminder to the young riders about the responsibility that comes with using the road.
Parents urged to monitor their childrenPolice also called on parents to keep a closer eye on their children’s activities and use of motorcycles.
According to PDRM, responsible and considerate behaviour on the road does not only protect the rider but can also save the lives of other road users.
